Jul 27, 2024 at 11:15 pm

Liberty Vault posted a video that addresses Michael Taylor's views about Bitcoin in comparison to other financial assets. The former CEO of MicroStrategy also stated his expectations from BTC in the future.

Michael Saylor Explains Bitcoin's Superiority, Sees a Spike to $13 Million Per BTC: Here's His Timeline

Billionaire entrepreneur Michael Saylor shared his views on Bitcoin and other financial assets in a recent video posted by Liberty Vault. Here's a summary of his key points.

1. Digital Capital for a New Global Economy:

Saylor highlighted the need to rebuild the global economy with digital capital, particularly Bitcoin. According to him, 20th-century ideas and technology result in slow and expensive processes and are already outdated.

2. Global Distribution of Wealth:

Emphasizing the vast potential of Bitcoin, Saylor mentioned that total assets globally amount to $900 trillion in physical and financial assets, with Bitcoin representing a small fraction.

3. Long-Term Capital: Utility Value vs. Store of Value

Saylor explained the concept of long-term capital, differentiating between utility value and store of value. He also pointed out the inefficiencies in current capital preservation methods.

4. Longevity of Financial Assets:

To explain how Bitcoin can transform the financial system, Saylor discussed other financial assets and their longevity so far. He mentioned physical assets like cars, yachts, mines, silver, gold, land, and paintings, highlighting their high maintenance and operational costs.

5. Bitcoin: Immortal and Immutable

In contrast to physical assets, Bitcoin is immortal and immutable. It has an infinite lifespan and is not impacted by issues in the physical world. It also offers a transformation from financial and physical assets to digital assets.

6. Bitcoin's Longevity: 1,000 to 100,000 Years

Saylor mentioned that institutional-grade custodians can maintain Bitcoin for 1,000 years. With self-custody, the longevity can be up to 10,000 years. Artificial Intelligence maintenance can potentially sustain Bitcoin for 100,000 years.

7. Bitcoin Price Predictions for 2045

The entrepreneur predicts the potential price of BTC by 2045. He thinks for a base case, the price could spike to $13 million per Bitcoin. For a bear case, we could see a spike to $3 million. A bull case could see a price spike to $30 million.

8. Artificial Intelligence and Growth of Digital Assets

According to Saylor, artificial intelligence and technology will drive growth in equities and demonetize traditional assets. This will help digital assets like Bitcoin grow very well.

9. Strategies for Individuals and Corporations

Saylor suggests that individuals should convert excess earnings into Bitcoin and avoid high-risk leverage. They should also use tax-efficient methods. He also advised corporations to convert capital and cash flows to Bitcoin avoiding dilutive financial practices and investing in Bitcoin to preserve long-term capital and avoid short-duration financial instruments.

10. Nations and Bitcoin

Finally, he thinks nations should issue currency and debt to buy Bitcoin, encourage Bitcoin ownership, and integrate it with the banking system
