Michael Saylor Drops Epic "Matrix" and "Orange pill" Message, Predicts Bitcoin to $13M in 21 Years

This message follows the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Bitcoin, finally recovering by more than 5% - BTC surged from $54,600 to $57,520 in less than 24 hours, adding almost $3,000.

However, Bitcoin has since declined after displaying some more volatility. At the time of writing, BTC is trading at $56,870.

Saylor reacted to this by posting an AI-generated image of himself, which is a clear reference to the classic Wachowskis film, “The Matrix.” donning the appearance of Morpheus, who makes Neo choose between the red and blue pills, Saylor’s tweet reads: "Take the orange pill."

“Orange pill” is a common reference to Bitcoin, as it pertains to BTC’s original orange hue.

Bitcoin to $13 million in 21 years: Saylor

On Monday, Saylor sent shockwaves through the Bitcoin community when he stated on CNBC's Squawk Box show that he expects BTC to soar to a phenomenal $13 million per coin in 21 years.

Saylor noted that Bitcoin currently comprises 0.1% of all global money, but the MicroStrategy executive chairman suggests that the digital gold is poised to absorb 7% of this money mass, primarily from the market value of gold.

NBA legend Scottie Pippen posted a wry response, asking if Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto visited Saylor in his dream to impart this valuable information. Earlier this month, Pippen tweeted that Satoshi told him in his dream that on Nov. 5, BTC would reach a staggering price point of $84,650.

Dogecoin founder Billy Markus chimed in with a sarcastic comment, stating that he expects Bitcoin to “rise to 100 billion trillion quadrillion.”

$850 million in Bitcoin offloaded on the market

According to a tweet by popular crypto analyst Ali Martinez, today, short-term traders have offloaded 14,816 BTC - this amount of Bitcoin was valued at nearly $850 million at the time of selling.

Martinez shared a chart from on-chain data aggregator CryptoQuant.
