Memli Krasniqi's cryptocurrencies have increased in value

The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and member of the Kosovo Assembly, Memli Krasniqi, has reported

Memli Krasniqi, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and member of the Kosovo Assembly, has reported a significant increase in the value of the cryptocurrencies he possesses, according to the asset declaration submitted to the Anti-Corruption Agency (APK).

Since 2016, Krasniqi had invested a total of 841.23 euros in cryptocurrencies, while today they have reached the value 78,773.02 €.

He has declared possession of 146,772 cryptocurrencies, divided into 25 different types, including: Bitcoin, Ether, Binance Coin, Cake, Ripple, Internet Computer and others.

Among the largest investments are:

2 Bitcoin, purchased on June 24, 2016 for 570 €, at the time of the asset declaration were assessed 76,150 euros, now one bitcoin, is worth 91.600 euros.

10 Ether, purchased that same day for 12 €, now they are worth 1,690 €.

200 Binance Coin, purchased on January 15, 2018 for 20 €, today they have the value 555 €.

20 Monero, purchased on June 20, 2017 for 41 €, now they are worth 198 €.

The last investment was made on August 8, 2024, when Krasniqi bought 5,000 Cardano FOR 0.34 €, which are now only valid 0.65 €.

Real estate and personal finances

Krasniqi also stated:

A 110 m² apartment of value 120,000 €, acquired by exchange from a previous apartment.

A house of 202 m² of value 180,000 €, jointly owned, obtained through loans, savings and family contributions.

In the current accounts, Krasniqi has stated:

3,194 € in his ownership

32,092.68 € owned by the wife.

Income and loans

The annual income declared for the last year is:

20,091.21 € from Krasniqi's net salaries as a member of the Kosovo Assembly.

13,935.05 € from the wife's net salaries at the Kosovo Albanological Institute.

2,108 € from his wife's contract work at the "Albas" Publishing House.

Krasniqi has declared two active loans:

65,000 € for buying a house (2018–2025)

30,000 € for home renovation (2020–2025)

He also stated 4,150 € as a temporary family loan in the name of the wife.

Movable assets

Movable property includes:

Library of value 15,000 € (joint ownership)

Artwork in value 9,000 € (joint ownership)

vehicles in value 20,000 € (owned by the wife), etc.
