The Mega Altseason Has Not Started Yet: Analysts

If we take a look at the analysis and research of some analysts, it is clear that we are not even close to an altcoin season.
Despite Bitcoin's impressive rally, reaching new all-time highs, analysts are debating whether we are entering an altcoin season or if Bitcoin will continue to dominate the market.
According to analyst Crypto Ash, we are not yet in an altcoin season. He points out that the total altcoin market cap has only retraced to December 2023 levels, and there are no major narratives driving the market like ICOs in 2017, DeFi in 2020, or NFTs in 2023.
He also notes that altcoins are down 30%-50% from their recent highs, retail interest is still low, but whales are still accumulating. He believes that this could be the optimal time to accumulate utility-based tokens and wait until BTC breaks $100K.
On the other hand, some analysts believe that an altcoin season is on the horizon. Crypto Tony stated that he does not expect to see a market-wide altcoin pump anytime soon, as institutions are only interested in BTC and a few other assets.
However, Crypto Distilled shared some news with a warning: “Bull Market = Bitcoin Heaven, Altcoin Hell.” While Bitcoin is approaching all-time highs, altcoins are struggling as if in a bear market. This market is extremely challenging for retail investors to navigate.
