CPU: The "All Big Core" Revolution

Gamers, listen up! The ARM Mali-G1 Ultra GPU in the Dimensity 9500 has *twice* as many ray tracing units as before. That translates to a whopping 119% increase in ray tracing performance. Overall peak GPU performance gets a 33% bump, and power efficiency at peak levels is up by 42%. MediaTek is saying this chip supports Unreal Engine 5.6, meaning those fancy Nanite and MegaLights features are ready to roll. This is looking like a huge leap for mobile gaming.

NPU and 5G: AI and Connectivity Get a Level Up

It isn't just about raw processing power, the Dimensity 9500 comes equipped with MediaTek’s 9th-gen NPU 990 and second-generation AI engine, doubling compute power and boosting power efficiency. Also, AI token generation speed is reportedly twice as fast and supports 4K AI image generation. 5G Ultrasave, increasing 5G power efficiency by 10% and supporting 5CC-CA for 7.4 Gbps speeds with sub-6 GHz connections.
