Off the Grid is gearing up for a phased mainnet launch on the GUNZ network, an Avalanche L1 blockchain, starting April 24, 2025, for select users.

Gunzilla Games' battle royale title Off the Grid is preparing for a phased mainnet launch on the GUNZ network, an Avalanche L1 blockchain, starting April 24.
The game, available on Xbox, PS5, and PC, will allow players to transfer, buy, and sell in-game items as NFTs. A testnet phase saw transactions outpace networks like Ronin and Arbitrum, indicating strong player activity.
However, the GUN token has seen a 50% drop since its launch on March 31. Only 6% of its 10 billion supply is circulating, mainly from Binance Launchpool rewards. The team plans to use 30% of monthly revenue for token buybacks to support community rewards post-mainnet.
The game now features daily solo mode and cross-play squads across Xbox, PS5, and PC. Since its early access launch in October, Off the Grid has recorded 9.12 million wallets and over 100 million transactions, showcasing sustained engagement.
Gunzilla Games is also inviting third-party developers to bring their titles to the GUNZ network to expand the token's utility across multiple games.
