A first look at the Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow Commander Precon decks

We showcase all four face commanders from the upcoming Bloomburrow Commander decks. We’re still waiting for the official Commander decklists, though.

Four Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow Commander Precon decks are being showcased with their face commanders, but we still need the official Commander decklists.

Here’s what we know about the Bloomburrow Commander decks so far.

The Standard-legal launch of Bloomburrow will include four preconstructed Commander decks, featuring two and three-color MTG color combos.

Family Matters Bloomburrow face commander

Zinnia, Valley's Voice is a powerful go-wide commander using the new Bloomburrow mechanic, Offspring. All creature spells you cast have Offspring Two. Within the MTG colors Blue, Red, and White, the possibilities of overwhelming your opponents are endless.

Peace Offering Bloomburrow face commander

Ms. Bumbleflower is a unique commander within the Peace Offering Precon. The Rabbit Citizen doesn’t use the Gift mechanic directly but can benefit an opponent while providing value to your deck at the same time.

Squirrel Away Bloomburrow face commander

Hazel of the Rootbloom is a token enabler within the Squirrel Away Commander deck. Tokens are created at the beginning of your end step, and if it’s a Squirrel, you get two copies. You can then pay two life and tap Hazel to use those tokens as mana dorks.

Animated Army Bloomburrow face commander

Bello, Bard of the Brambles is the most interesting face commander of all the Bloomburrow Commander decks. The Raccoon Bard turns Artifacts that aren’t Equipment and Enchantments that aren’t Auras into 4/4 creatures with Indestructible and Haste. And when they deal damage through combat, you get to draw a card.

When do Bloomburrow Precon Commander decklists release?

Official Bloomburrow spoilers started on July 9. For those curious about the cards already revealed, there’s a full list from MagicCon Amsterdam. We’ll get full Commander decklists, based on the WotC preview schedule, on July 18. I expect we may see cards sooner, though; WotC typically reveals face commanders during the first day of spoiler season. And, if we’re lucky, we might also see secondary commanders.

We’ll add all Bloomburrow Commander decklists after they have been unveiled.

What is in a Bloomburrow Commander deck?

Bloomburrow will have 15 new-to-Magic cards in each preconstructed Commander deck. Much like past Precon Commander decks, you’ll get 100 single-copy playable cards with treatments, tokens, and a box to hold it all.

What are Bloomburrow Commander deck preorder prices?

Heading into Bloomburrow spoiler season, all Commander decks have a preorder price of $47.99 on Amazon. An option to purchase all four is available as well, priced at $189.20. Prices of preorders are subject to change once the preview season starts and when the full MTG Commander decklists are revealed.
