Litecoin to $100? Analysts See Bullish Setup Amid ETF Buzz

Jul 04, 2025 at 05:08 am

Analysts are eyeing a potential breakout for Litecoin (LTC) towards $100, fueled by renewed ETF optimism and key technical indicators.

Litecoin to $100? Analysts See Bullish Setup Amid ETF Buzz

Litecoin, once the silver to Bitcoin's gold, is back in the spotlight! Analysts are buzzing about a potential surge to $100, driven by the possibility of a Litecoin ETF and promising technical signals.

ETF Optimism Rekindles Litecoin Interest

After months of quiet performance, Litecoin (LTC) is attracting fresh attention, largely fueled by speculation surrounding a spot Litecoin ETF. Analysts James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas have pegged the odds of ETF approval at a staggering 95%, citing regulatory clarity and existing futures markets. The final SEC approval deadline is Oct. 2, 2025.

This ETF narrative has reignited interest in Litecoin futures, with open interest climbing to nearly $600 million by July 3. This increase, coupled with positive funding rates, suggests traders are positioning themselves for a potential ETF catalyst.

Analysts Eye Breakout Above $100

Technical analysts are also painting a bullish picture. Marcus Corvinus noted that the $84 support level held firm, confirming a high-demand zone. He believes Litecoin's short-term trend has turned structurally bullish, with potential to move towards the $110-$140 zone if current volume holds.

Minimilian highlighted a breakout from a diagonal resistance zone on the 4-hour timeframe, suggesting a quick retest of the $100 level is possible. Santolita pointed to a triple-bottom reversal setup, projecting a move towards $100+.

Not All Data is Green

While the overall sentiment is positive, it's important to note that not all data is green. Whale wallets have started shedding LTC since late June, and short-term RSI signals are flashing overbought territory. However, Litecoin has been holding support and bouncing consistently from the $80–$82 zone.

The Bottom Line

The stars seem to be aligning for Litecoin. ETF optimism, positive technical indicators, and renewed investor interest are all contributing to a potential breakout. Could Litecoin finally break the $100 barrier? Only time will tell, but the analysts are certainly betting on it.

So, is Litecoin the next big thing? Maybe. But even if it doesn't hit $100 tomorrow, it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. After all, who doesn't love a good comeback story?
