The Trump family-backed World Liberty Financial has made a proposal hinting at the near launch of USD1.

World Liberty Financial, a decentralized finance project backed by the Trump family, has made a proposal hinting at the imminent launch of its dollar-backed stablecoin, USD1.
In a bid to test the platform’s technological capabilities and reward early users, the team at World Liberty Financial announced that it would be undertaking an on-chain airdrop of 100 USD1 to a random snapshot of 200 users.
The proposal, which was passed with seven votes in favor and one against, highlights the team’s commitment to engaging with the community and fostering widespread adoption of the USD1 platform.
As the Trump administration pushes for regulations to legitimize the lucrative crypto vertical, World Liberty Financial’s entry into the stablecoin sector marks a significant development in the administration’s efforts to integrate cryptocurrencies into the mainstream financial system.
With plans to revolutionize the financial landscape and introduce innovative solutions to pressing problems, World Liberty Financial’s endeavors are sure to be followed closely by both the crypto community and political observers alike.
The team's proposal to conduct an on-chain airdrop of 100 USD1 to a snapshot of 200 users was met with enthusiasm, ultimately passing with seven votes in favor and one against.
The proposal aims to test the functionality of the platform's on-chain airdrop feature, which is still under development.
The team explained that the airdrop would also serve to drive visibility around the project and reward early adopters for their belief in the vision of World Liberty Financial.
"This proposal is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the progress that has been made on the project," the team stated in the proposal.
