Kaspa (KAS) Nears Binance Listing as the Project Prepares for Its Biggest Upgrade Yet
Mar 06, 2025 at 12:00 am
Kaspa's Crescendo upgrade, a highly anticipated hard fork, aims to revolutionize scalability by increasing block production from 1 to 10 blocks per second (BPS).

A highly anticipated upgrade to the Kaspa blockchain, known as Crescendo, will be increasing block production from 1 to 10 blocks per second (BPS). This adjustment promises to significantly improve transaction throughput, network efficiency, and ultimately broader blockchain adoption.
As the upgrade edges closer, Freeman, a popular crypto analyst with over 10,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel ‘Freeman Finance and Crypto,’ is presenting evidence that suggests a complete Kaspa (KAS) listing on Binance could be on the horizon. This potential listing would closely follow what many deem the biggest upgrade in Kaspa’s history.
“I can just feel it, Kaspa is coming to Binance,” says Freeman with great confidence in his latest analysis. The timing couldn’t be more strategic, as the project is preparing to implement Crescendo, the upgrade that will increase block production tenfold—from 1 to 10 blocks per second.
The Binance Connection: Kaspa Listing Telling Signs
According to Freeman, several factors hint at an imminent Binance listing. First, Binance has moved the date for its Kaspa mining reward distribution to March 6th—the same day the Crescendo upgrade is set to launch. Shortly after this schedule change, a suspected Binance wallet is seen acquiring 43 million Kaspa tokens.
Further strengthening this theory, CoinMarketCap (owned by Binance) recently published an article stating: “Kaspa Crescendo upgrade could trigger a rally by enhancing network efficiency. Future major exchange listings may propel Kaspa’s growth.”
“Is Kaspa going to be listed on Binance or not? I think it is obvious!” exclaims Freeman. “They have been waiting to line it up with the biggest upgrade ever coming for Kaspa, which is Crescendo.”
The timing appears deliberate, with TestNet 10 being released on March 4th, followed by the mainnet hard fork on March 6th—coinciding exactly with Binance’s rescheduled reward distribution date.
Kaspa’s Technological Edge and Market Position
Freeman is particularly enthusiastic about Kaspa’s technological advantages. “Kaspa is going to become the most efficient, the most useful proof of work that there ever is,” he explains. To put this in perspective, Bitcoin—currently the leading proof-of-work blockchain—produces one block every 10 minutes, while Kaspa is moving from one block per second to an impressive 10 blocks per second.
“Remember, Bitcoin—the best proof of work—is 1 block per 10 minutes. Kaspa is coming for their neck!”
Kaspa is also attractive for its emission schedule. Unlike Bitcoin, which won’t be fully mined for another 30 years, Kaspa is nearing the end of its major distribution phase. By March 7th, just one day after the hard fork, approximately 25 billion tokens will be in circulation.
“The dilution that’s coming for Kaspa is pretty much non-existent. By the end of 2025 or early 2026, you can pretty much assume all tokens will be in circulation.”
Despite being down from its all-time high of over 20 cents, Freeman believes Kaspa is positioned for substantial growth. Recent market movements show promising momentum, with Freeman highlighting a “pumpy pump” coinciding with broader cryptocurrency market optimism.
Freeman’s enthusiasm for Kaspa’s future is evident. He plans to increase his content coverage of the project from once weekly to “three or four Kaspa videos a week,” highlighting the significance of the upcoming developments.
“A lot of people have been waiting to build on Kaspa—waiting for 10 blocks per second, waiting for the most efficient, the fastest blockchain that is proof of work, not proof of stake. We’ve made it. This is what we’ve been waiting for!”
