The Kansas City Chiefs Want to Start the 2025 NFL Season Faster Than Any Other Team

The Kansas City Chiefs want the 2025 National Football League season to start faster than any other team in the league.

The Kansas City Chiefs fans can now put March 15 in their calendars. That is the day that the NFL will release the full schedule for the 2025 season. The Chiefs will be looking to bounce back from their loss in Super Bowl LIX with another deep playoff run.

The Chiefs went 10-4 in the regular season last year and finished second in the AFC West with a losing record in divisional games. They reached the playoffs for the seventh straight year and advanced to the Super Bowl for the third time in four seasons. However, they fell short of winning their second consecutive Super Bowl title as they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 28-7 in the big game.

The Chiefs will have a new-look secondary in 2025 after they lost star safety Juan Thornhill and veteran cornerback Orlando Scandrick in free agency. They also lost starting center Rodney Snavely to retirement.

The Chiefs will be hoping to make a strong start to the season and they will certainly have the chance to do so as they are set to open the season on Friday in Brazil against their divisional rival, according to reports.

The game against the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium will be the most-watched game of the regular season. The Eagles and Chiefs have met twice in the Super Bowl over the past three seasons, the NFL’s current iteration of historic Super Bowl rivalries. Kansas City beat Philadelphia on a field goal in the final seconds of Super Bowl LVII while the Eagles blew out the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX last year.

The Eagles and Chiefs have squared off in epic battles before, as the rivalry intensifies with a revenge game in Arrowhead Stadium. Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes are a matchup within itself, as the Eagles and Chiefs have a history between their front office and head coaches. This is the can’t-miss regular season showdown in 2025.

The Chiefs and Eagles games always deliver. The games usually come down to the wire and both teams have some of the best offensive and defensive players in the league. With the Chiefs set to have a big chip on their shoulder after last season, it is going to be a great game to watch next season.
