Sei Development Foundation has appointed veteran fintech entrepreneur and co-founder of Securitize, Jamie Finn, as a strategic advisor.
The non-profit, which is focused on the development and adoption of Sei (SEI), announced the appointment on Monday.
“Jamie brings a rare combination of institutional credibility, deep technical insight, and hands-on experience building real-world asset platforms,” said Justin Barlow, executive director at the Sei Development Foundation. “His expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow the Sei ecosystem and provide the best-in-class blockchain infrastructure for the next generation of Web3 applications.”
At the Sei Development Foundation, Finn’s key areas of collaboration will include the topic of strategic growth and the integration of real-world assets (RWA) on the Sei blockchain network.
Finn’s experience and expertise will be crucial for the RWA approach, having been a key figure across blockchain technology, digital assets and finance sectors.
His role will also include exploring potential partnerships and initiatives that align with the foundation’s vision for open and decentralized finance.
Commenting on his appointment, Finn said: “I’m a big fan of the performance and developer-first approach that the Sei team has built. It makes an ideal platform for tokenized RWA strategies that are scalable, compliant, and institutional-grade.
