The core of the challenge lies in besting all three bosses. No other tricks or gimmicks are involved. They’re relatively straightforward encounters, but you’ll want to follow this guide to claim the Dusty Trip The Hunt token.

First boss: The Lumberjack

Where to find him: 830-meter mark; he’s in the cabin in the woods after the paved road ends

The Lumberjack spawns in the cabin after reaching 830 meters. You won’t immediately see him, but you’ll get a message to “stop and look around.” This occurs precisely after the paved road ends, and the cabin is visible straight ahead.

After completing the first stage of the Hunt in Pet Simulator 99, continue driving until you hit 830 meters. At this point, you’ll be able to see a cabin in the distance as the paved road ends.

The Lumberjack will be in the cabin. To start the encounter, you’ll need to walk around the exterior of the cabin until the boss jumps on a stump and kicks things off. He’ll be armed with an axe and will also summon falling trees and spinning saw blades. An AK-47 will appear during the fight, which should give you a good enough chance of survival.

Axe swing: The Lumberjack will wind up his axe from left to right before unleashing a diagonal strike. To dodge, simply move in the opposite direction of the axe.

Falling trees: When the Lumberjack raises both hands, he’ll summon several trees that fall from the sky. These are focused on a small area, so you can easily move out of the way.

Spinning saw blades: The Lumberjack will spin around while summoning several saw blades that fly towards you in a circle. To dodge these, simply keep moving in a small circle around the boss.

Second boss: The Miner

Where to find him: 2,100-meter mark (inside the volcanic mine, just by driving from the forested area)

To begin the Miner encounter, continue driving from where the first boss is located. The road will slowly curve to the right before entering a straight tunnel that leads toward a mountain. Enter the mine and you’ll be told to look ahead. The Miner will then jump out of the lava and start the encounter. Like the first boss, weapons will appear during the fight. You’ll need to dodge falling rocks, explosive dynamite, and slow-moving minions.

How to dodge his attacks:

Falling rocks: When the Miner raises both hands, he’ll summon several rocks that fall from the sky. They’re focused on a small area, so you can easily move out of the way.

Explosive dynamite: The Miner will throw a lit stick of dynamite at you. It explodes after a short period, so keep moving to avoid it.

Minions: When the Miner slams his fist on the ground, he’ll summon two rocky minions that slowly move toward you. They’ll try to ram you, but they’re very slow, allowing for easy evasion.

Third boss: The Ice Witch

Where to find her: 3,000-meter mark (inside an Ice Castle)

After besting the Miner, return to your vehicle and quickly drive past his corpse. Be wary, as boxes of explosives will detonate on your sides. Once clear, continue driving until you spot a castle in the distance. Enter the castle and pass through the antechamber. Resist the urge to search for loot or explore hidden rooms.
