Helium (HNT) Breaks Out From Falling Wedge Pattern, Signaling Potential 648% Upswing

Popular cryptocurrency analyst Javon Marks highlighted a potential breakout for Helium (CRYPTO: HNT) in a recent tweet, indicating the possibility of a substantial continuation move.

According to Marks, the breakout could target $52.76, which would translate to a remarkable 648% increase from current levels.

At the time of writing, HNT was changing hands at around $6.63 and had remained within a corrective structure over recent days, with a market cap of less than $1.2 billion.

Helium's role in driving blockchain adoption goes beyond its price movements.

A recent report by CNF highlighted the importance of Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) in providing practical applications of blockchain technology.

According to blockchain expert Nick Garcia, this shift relies heavily on networks like Helium and Hivemapper.

notably, Helium is renowned for its decentralized wireless network, which enables seamless communication between devices around the globe. Moreover, prominent American telecom companies have undertaken tests on the Helium Network, underscoring its growing industry relevance.

From the Helium ecosystem, several innovative concepts have emerged, aiming to enhance user participation.

In July, the community engaged in discussions regarding HIP-128, a proposal to establish an ENERGY subnetwork.

This initiative primarily aims to engage actors within the energy sector, particularly those involved in battery storage and solar energy generation. By empowering homeowners to participate in the energy industry, the subnetwork seeks to challenge the dominance of centralized energy companies.

In August, Helium, which operates on Solana's (CRYPTO: SOL) blockchain, took a significant step by collaborating with two major American telecom companies. The project aimed to test offloading traffic from the Helium Network onto another network. Initial results from these tests were promising, marking a pivotal development in Helium's pursuit of decentralizing network infrastructure.
