The Hedera Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the development and adoption of the Hedera blockchain public ecosystem, has joined forces with technology partner EQTY Lab and consulting firm Accenture to introduce a new solution for transparent and tamper-proof oversight of artificial intelligence (AI), including generative AI systems, in public and government environments.

The solution, which is powered by Hedera’s no-mining blockchain technology, also introduces cryptographically verifiable mechanisms for oversight.

This integration of verifiable AI and blockchain technologies enables Hedera Foundation to assist institutions in sustaining security and control throughout digital transformation initiatives. At the heart of the solution lies the inclusion of EQTY Lab’s Verifiable Compute with Hedera’s Token Service (HTS) and Consensus Service (HCS).

This combination permits full auditability of any computation, data used, and weights applied in an AI model, ultimately improving compliance and data integrity across autonomous, distributed systems. Moreover, Accenture will be instrumental in developing implementation playbooks, scalable deployment plans, and business logic agendas for public sector-related use cases.
