Hamster Kombat, the new Telegram mini game, has quickly become a hit, gaining over 150 million users worldwide in just a few weeks after going viral on social media.

After the successful launch of Notcoin (NOT), Hamster Kombat also appears to be preparing for an upcoming token airdrop, as the game’s team hints at the launch.

Bitget, KuCoin And Gate.io To Launch Pre-Market Trading For The Hamster Kombat Token Launch

Launched on The Open Network (TON) chain in May, Notcoin (NOT) has become the largest crypto gaming token this year with a market cap of over $2 billion.

Back in May, Hamster Kombat also announced that it will be launching a token on TON, a layer-1 blockchain network that was initially created by Telegram’s team.

While the game’s website states that Hamster Kombat's token airdrop is expected to take place sometime in July, the exact date is yet to be revealed by the game’s team.

Through the token, players will be able to swap their in-game rewards for real cash.

Looking to capitalize on the hype, several crypto exchanges, including Gate.io, Bitget, and KuCoin, have already announced plans to support pre-market trading of the Hamster Kombat token.

The upcoming launch has not come without its share of attention from regulators around the world, who are expressing concerns over players being able to cash out their easily obtainable in-game rewards.

Airdrop Allocations Not Based On Coins

It is still unclear how many tokens players will be able to claim during the airdrop, but the team has revealed that airdrop allocations will not be based on the number of coins that players collect before a set deadline, an approach that is commonly used by many projects.
