Hamster Kombat Community-Driven Growth Surpasses 55 Million Subscribers
Sep 10, 2024 at 07:07 pm
Hamster Kombat, a relatively new Telegram game, has enriched the gaming experience for Web2 and Web3 players since its launch.

Hamster Kombat, a new Telegram game, has attracted many users to the platform in just six months. Now, the game has broken its previous record number of subscribers again.
In a Telegram message to the community, the number of active subscribers in the Hamster Kombat community has now crossed 55 million. The total subscribers on its Telegram channel now stand at 55,071,005. This new record highlights the game’s growth in the ecosystem and the increasing popularity of the viral tap-to-earn game.
Since its launch on TON (The Open Network), the Hamster Kombat team has tried to find new ways to engage the community. As reported earlier by Coinspeaker, the gaming platform was set to launch its native token HMSTR. However, technical challenges pushed the date back, according to the team.
Now, the Hamster Kombat airdrop is set for 26th September, according to a new report. As per the details, 60% of the allocation will be received by the community members, while the remaining 40% will ensure market liquidity. Part of the 40% will also serve other purposes, such as rewarding squads and building ecosystem collaborations.
The message notably acknowledged the community’s effort in making this happen while celebrating the milestone achievement. It specifically highlighted that the new figure recorded is thanks to the continuous support and engagement of users in the community.
“This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support and belief in us!” the team stated in their message.
Perhaps this also accounts for the 60% allocation of tokens to community members as a way to reward users. Different platforms have always prioritized their community, and experts say acknowledging them with rewards remains a sure way of retaining the user base. The loyalty and active participation of Hamster Kombat users were also undoubtedly critical to surpassing the 55 million subscriber level.
As the community anticipates the September 26th date, Hamster Kombat has continued to push for community engagement and growth. In a recent major collaboration, the team partnered with Crypto.com to bridge the gap between virtual and real-world digital payments. With the introduction of a new metal card, the duo aims to boost payment flexibility and make crypto payments available for gamers and business owners globally.
This increase in utility is seen by market analysts as another avenue for Hamster Kombat to grow its subscribers. They believe that if the token launch happens by the end of September, more subscribers will likely join the Telegram platform as new users onboard.
