The Gujarat Titans (GT) came to the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 02 for Match No. 14 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The night fixture saw the Shubman Gill-led side enter the contest to continue their winning momentum, whereas, the table-toppers RCB look to maintain their winning streak, led by Rajat Patidar.

At the coin flip, GT skipper Shubman Gill called it tails and it ended in his favour, as the visitors decided to bowl first. With a formidable bowling line-up that includes the likes of Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna alongside spin king Rashid Khan, GT will look to restrict the hosts for as lower as possible, in order to chase down the target comfortably. RCB, on the other hand, will look to make the most of the home conditions, and post a daunting total.

South Africa spearhead Kagiso Rabada won't be playing this high-octane clash and GT have been forced to bring in another player to their playing combination for this fixture. The Gujarat skipper confirmed that the Proteas pacer missed the game due to personal reasons and another speedster Arshad Khan replaced him in the Playing XI at Chinnaswamy.

"We'll bowl first. Looks like a good wicket. We've seen the conditions don't change much. We're all about reducing our unforced errors. We'll try to fine-tune the areas that need it. Kagiso misses out due to personal reasons so we've got Arshad Khan back," said GT captain Shubman Gill at the toss.

"Would've bowled first as well because it's a new surface. It's pretty hard and won't change much. The way boys are chipping in gives a lot of confidence as a captain. We love this crowd. The way they love us and the support we've always received is incredible," said RCB captain Rajat Patidar at the toss.
