With a 300% Growth in Userbase, Bitget Wallet Expands into Real-World Crypto Use
May 21, 2025 at 06:00 pm
San Salvador, El Salvador, 21 May, 2025 — Bitget Wallet, the leading non-custodial crypto wallet, has unveiled a new brand identity to reflect its evolution

Bitget Wallet, the leading non-custodial crypto wallet, today unveiled a new brand identity to reflect its evolution into a full-service crypto wallet designed for everyday use. Expanding on its Trade, Earn, Pay and Discover propositions, the platform aims to reach the next billion users with its Crypto for Everyone vision.
Founded in 2018, Bitget Wallet provides a non-custodial gateway for users to access and manage various crypto services, including swaps, market insights, staking, and DApps, across 130+ blockchains and millions of tokens. With a focus on ease of use and simplicity, the platform offers one-click, gas-free swaps, simple staking and yield features, and the ability to spend crypto directly from the wallet via in-app purchases, QR code payments, and crypto cards.
This year, Bitget Wallet set out to expand its reach beyond digital assets with plans to support tokenized real-world assets such as stocks and gold, aiming to further diversify users’ investment options. To ensure a more secure experience, the platform also includes built-in protections like real-time risk monitoring and transaction screening, helping users stay safe while navigating onchain finance.
The platform saw a 300% growth in users over the past year, with the fastest growth in Africa (+959%), Europe (+367%), and the Middle East (+350%), as more users turn to crypto wallets to store value, make payments, and navigate unstable local economies.
“The role of wallets is evolving - it’s moving from a niche tool to one with real-world utility for everyday needs,” said Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet. “This rebrand is part of a longer-term plan to make crypto accessible for everyone. We’re building towards a future where interacting with crypto feels as easy as using Uber or Paypal.”
As part of the rebrand, Bitget Wallet is launching the Crypto for Everyone Movement in partnership with leading ecosystem projects, offering over $1 million in rewards and inviting users to explore the updated platform through interactive campaigns.
“At Bitget Wallet, we stand strong with the essence of crypto extending beyond our decentralized vision, serving as a critical access layer across trading, earning, and payments for onchain assets. Users now have an even more powerful tool - simple to use, accessible, and packed with capabilities - that connects people to opportunity, wherever they are, whenever they need,” said Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget.
More details on the brand update and product roadmap are available on the Bitget Wallet blog.
