Elon Musk's AI Grok has allegedly gone wild shilling a Gork crypto coin on Solana.

The Gork AI agent itself might be legit and launched by the xAI team as a parody version of the original Grok AI.

Recently, Gork, the glorious Elon pet, has gone wild and decided to shill the $GORK crypto coin on Solana, a meme coin related to Gork, which is another parody version of Grok that is possibly associated with xAI. Confusing, I know.

But let's start from the beginning. It all started with this tweet from Gork, a parody version of Grok. Notice the difference now?

A few hours after the tweet, a meme coin crypto called $GORK was launched on Pump. Fun then graduated to Solana, and it did an absolutely crazy gain, for its early buyers of course, by going to a 40M market cap in a very short time.

Now, why did it pump like that?

Most of the hype comes from the search for a new narrative on the Solana chain, as many people are calling it the new $GOAT, which was launched the same way, later supported by Marc Andreessen, and started the whole AI narrative back in 2024.

Gork is also said to be part of the xAI team and created this AI agent to troll on the blockchain.

Another support of the speculations is Grok itself tweeting a drawing about the coin (now deleted) and “shilling it,” as they say in another tweet. It’s still not solid proof—you can get any AI to say just about anything with the right prompt.

To summarize, the Gork AI agent itself might be legit and launched by the xAI team as a parody version of the original Grok AI. It’s still unclear what the origins of $GORK are. At the time of writing, $GORK has a 37M market cap supported solely by the community and speculations, and we should still wait for confirmation if it’s linked to the Gork AI agent, though unlikely.
