Grayscale’s asset management team prepares this list to report the rebalancing process for the FTSE/Grayscale Crypto Sectors family of indexes. This provides investors with a Top 20 crypto assets list that could potentially yield high growth in the upcoming quarter.
Their official website recently released the list of top 20 cryptocurrencies for Q4. These options represent different assets in the crypto sector with a high potential for a price surge.
This asset management company follows different factors to prepare a top crypto list. It includes network growth/adoption, upcoming catalysts, token valuation, token supply inflation, potential tail risks, and more.
The top cryptocurrencies on their latest list reflect various crypto market themes. The focused areas include high-performance infrastructure, decentralized AI, traditional asset tokenization, and the appeal of memecoins.
Six cryptocurrencies are removed from the Q4 list: Render, Mantle, THORChain, Pendle, Illuvium, Raydium, and other projects.
These assets are still invaluable within their ecosystem. However, their latest list provides more good options than these six tokens.
New Altcoins In Grayscale’s List: Sui, Helium, Optimism, And More
Grayscale’s top 20 cryptocurrencies list of Q4 has included six new altcoins. These altcoins are Optimism (OP), Helium (HNT), Celo (CELO), Sui (SUI), Bittensor (TAO), and UMA Protocol (UMA). These fresh assets are supposed to seize key market opportunities.
Optimism is an Ethereum layer 2 solution that is known for its decentralized physical infrastructure networks. Helium is another cryptocurrency that made it to the latest Grayscale’s list. Helium is known as the people’s network, which is a decentralized wireless Internet of Things (IoT) network using the LoRaWAN system.
Celo and UMA Protocol are the latest entries. They correspond with Grayscale’s approach based on specific adoption patterns and DAOs for AI. Celo has become an Ethereum L2 layer that is known for its increasing usage.
In contrast, the UMA Protocol is important in blockchain predictive markets because of its backing to the Polymarket platform.
The other two cryptocurrencies on the list, Bittensor and Sui, are known for their technical advancements. Bittensor is a decentralized network that integrates AI and blockchain technology.
Then, the Sui platform is known for its transaction speed rise by 80% after a network upgrade. Grayscale has launched trust products for both Sui and Bittensor. It shows their belief in the future development of both tokens.
Grayscale’s Focus On Traditional Assets
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana are still Grayscale’s top priorities. This asset management firm states that these traditional assets are doing better than the other cryptocurrencies available.
The established crypto asset Bitcoin is doing well due to the introduction of US spot Bitcoin ETFs. Macro conditions were in the favor of Bitcoin multiple times this year.
Ethereum is another crypto project that has dominated the crypto market with its developers, fee revenue, and value locked.
It has even outperformed many other crypto assets. Grayscale has faith in the Ethereum project due to its network security and reliability.
Solana is on the Grayscale’s list of top cryptocurrencies. It has implemented network upgrades such as QUIC, TPU, and stake-weighted QoS. It has improved the management of high traffic and demand.
Also, the combination of technological innovation and ecosystem growth positions it well for future success.
