ETransfer Partners With Cobo to Enhance Cross-Chain Security for the Web3 Ecosystem

Singapore, 3 December 2024 — ETransfer, a specialised cross-chain bridge-swap decentralised application (dApp), today announced its partnership with Cobo, a leading global provider of digital asset custody solutions. Built on aelf network, a leading Layer 1 AI-enhanced blockchain, and available on Portkey, an account abstraction Web3 wallet, ETransfer has integrated Cobo's Custodial Wallets solution to provide greater security and multi-chain scalability to the broader Web3 ecosystem.

This successful integration will see ETransfer's users benefit from Cobo's robust custodial infrastructure, backed by ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications, ensuring bank-grade security standards for ETransfer's bridge-swap functions, to enable seamless cross-chain bridging and token swapping with خیال آسوده.

Specifically, ETransfer will leverage Cobo's Custodial Wallets, which boasts a 3-tier (hot, warm, cold) storage architecture for optimal security and efficiency. 95% of assets are secured in cold wallets, with offline private keys distributed across multiple global locations for enhanced protection. At the same time, 5% of assets are stored in hot and warm wallets to facilitate fast withdrawals. This 3-tier architecture is further fortified by Cobo's advanced Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), rigorous risk control protocols, and a zero-trust architecture.

For comprehensive asset protection, ETransfer will also utilise Cobo’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) services and Know Your Transaction (KYT) solutions from industry leaders like Chainalysis, Elliptic, and Beosin. These services will ensure robust compliance and optimal security for ETransfer’s users during every transaction.

This partnership marks a significant step in addressing the evolving security challenges within the cryptocurrency sector. As digital asset adoption continues to grow globally, this collaboration is poised to redefine secure cryptocurrency transactions.
