The closure of Beacon Chain is expected to lead to a boom for Binance Coin, and delegating Binance Coin through a manual migration process is possible

The closure of the Beacon Chain, a precursor to Ethereum 2.0, is set to take place in June 2024, a move that is expected to benefit Binance Coin.
Even now, it is possible to delegate Binance Coin through a manual migration process. Following the migration, token delegation for Binance Coin will occur via Binance Smart Chain, which serves as the sole network to uphold the BEP20 standard.
This recent development will shift the attention of investors toward the Binance coin as the Beacon Chain prepares to reshuffle a few tokens on the Binance platform.
The Beacon Chain served as a temporary alternative for orchestrating consensus, while Binance controlled its decentralized networks through the Binance Chain. As per industry reports, the closure of the Beacon Chain is not expected to significantly impact Binance Smart Chain. Notably, BNB token holders will continue to earn passive income even after redelegating their holdings, which is an exciting aspect of this development.
For redelegating Binance coins, the Binance Chain Wallet and Trust Wallet are highly recommended. It has been reported that the Beacon Chain will cease all operations and archive its data by the end of May 2024.
The Beacon Chain's primary goal is to fully transfer its functionalities to the Binance Smart Chain. Given that the Binance Smart Chain can support advanced and high-volume DEX trading, the Beacon Chain will discontinue its DEX module.
In April 2024, the Beacon Chain halted the issuance of new tokens, and the options to transfer tokens from the Beacon Chain and Binance Smart Chain will no longer be available. However, the Beacon Chain still allows for transfers out of its networks as users move BNB coins and other tokens. They also notified all previous users with Beacon Chain addresses that they could utilize a migration tool to relocate any remaining assets.
