growth of the crypto market has positive tips. Especially in Indonesia, until April 2024, the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (CoFTRA) stated that crypto investors had reached 20.16 million.

Investors in crypto assets or crypto in Indonesia continue to experience an increase. The Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (CoFTRA) noted that there were 20.16 million crypto investors in the country as of April 2024.
This growth is also supported by an increase in institutional adoption, such as the potential approval and launch of a spot Ethereum ETF in the next one to two months, according to Crypto Analyst Reku, Fahmi Almuttaqin.
Fahmi explained that a spot ETF for Ethereum differs from one for Bitcoin because Ethereum has a diverse token ecosystem that allows ETH holders to use these digital assets to stake on the Ethereum blockchain network and earn rewards.
"This capability is not available on the Bitcoin blockchain, which employs the Proof of Work consensus method," Fahmi stated in a statement received and quoted on Thursday, June 13.
Furthermore, with the advancement of restaking technology and platforms like Eigen Layer, which enables integration of Ethereum's security layer with other software modules, ETH holders stand to gain multiple potential rewards.
"These potential rewards could hold their own appeal for ETF investors if they can be incorporated into the spot Ethereum ETF products that will be launched," he added.
Fahmi noted that crypto adoption is likely to increase with the growing range of crypto investment products that can be easily accessed by mainstream investors in the United States.
"Especially with the increasing number of innovations that have emerged in the crypto ecosystem itself, promising potential for the creation of exciting new opportunities," Fahmi concluded.
