Ethena Labs and Bybit Forge Partnership to Drive USDe Adoption

New York, USA - May 11, 2024 - Ethena Labs, a leading provider of synthetic stablecoins, has announced a strategic partnership with Bybit, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges. The collaboration aims to enhance the utility and adoption of Ethena's synthetic stablecoin, USDe.

Under the terms of the agreement, USDe will be integrated into Bybit's Universal Trading Account as a collateral asset for perpetual futures trading. This integration allows Bybit users to leverage USDe to fund their trades, potentially unlocking new opportunities for yield generation and capital efficiency.

In addition to its role as collateral, USDe will also be paired with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) on Bybit's spot trading platform, providing users with increased flexibility and diversification options. Furthermore, USDe will be included in Bybit's Earn platform, enabling users to earn rewards by participating in launchpool farming.

Guy Young, Founder and CEO of Ethena Labs, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its potential to elevate USDe's position in the stablecoin market. "Offering USDe as collateral on Bybit, a प्रमुख player in the crypto derivatives space, will be a catalyst for USDe's continued growth," said Young.

USDe is a synthetic stablecoin designed to address the scalability challenges faced by traditional stablecoins. It leverages a unique algorithm to maintain its peg to the US dollar without the need for extensive collateralization. This feature differentiates USDe from other stablecoins and has contributed to its growing popularity among crypto traders.

Ethena Labs recently expanded USDe's backing assets to include Bitcoin, further solidifying its stability. The company also distributed its governance token, ENA, to eligible users, empowering the community to play a role in the stablecoin's future development.

The partnership with Bybit marks a significant milestone for USDe's adoption and is expected to increase its visibility and accessibility within the crypto ecosystem. Ethena Labs believes that this collaboration will position USDe as a preferred stablecoin for traders seeking a scalable, yield-generating, and versatile digital asset.
