Dogecoin – Daily Tech Analysis –July 29th, 2021
May 07, 2024 at 05:05 pm
On Wednesday, Dogecoin's price fell by 0.05% to $0.2058. After a brief increase in the morning, Dogecoin climbed to an intraday high of $0.2138 before reversing course. The cryptocurrency tested the first major resistance level at $0.2119 before falling to an intraday low of $0.2017.

Dogecoin Faces Resistance, but Broader Market Support Could Fuel Recovery
Dogecoin (DOGE) endured a rollercoaster ride on Wednesday, fluctuating within a narrow range before closing the day with a modest decline. After a brief surge on Tuesday, the cryptocurrency has been unable to maintain its momentum, encountering significant resistance at key levels.
Resistance and Support Levels Tested
Opening the day at $0.2058, Dogecoin initially climbed to an intraday high of $0.2138 in the late morning. However, it subsequently faced resistance at the first major resistance level of $0.2119, resulting in a pullback to a late afternoon low of $0.2017. Notably, Dogecoin managed to hold above the first major support level of $0.1975, finding support at $0.2050 levels.
Mixed Start to Thursday
As of this writing, Dogecoin is facing a further 0.49% decline, trading at $0.2048. The day opened with a mixed start, with the cryptocurrency rising to an early morning high of $0.2063 before slipping to a low of $0.2044. Dogecoin has yet to test the major support and resistance levels, indicating a period of indecision within the market.
Outlook for the Day
For Dogecoin to regain momentum, it must overcome the $0.2071 pivot. This would open up the possibility of a retest of the first major resistance level at $0.2125. However, support from the broader cryptocurrency market is essential for Dogecoin to break back into the $0.21 range.
Should Dogecoin continue to rise, it could face resistance at $0.22 levels before any potential pullback. The second major resistance level is located at $0.2192.
Support Levels Remain Intact
In the event Dogecoin fails to clear the $0.2071 pivot, it will likely face pressure at the first major support level of $0.2004. However, barring an extended sell-off, Dogecoin is expected to hold above sub-$0.19 levels, with the second major support level at $0.1950 limiting any further downside.
Technical Indicators
- First Major Support Level: $0.2004
- Pivot Level: $0.2071
- First Major Resistance Level: $0.2125
- 23.6% FIB Retracement Level: $0.3016
- 38.2% FIB Retracement Level: $0.3859
- 62% FIB Retracement Level: $0.5221
Conclusion
Dogecoin's recent price action suggests a period of consolidation, with the cryptocurrency facing resistance at key levels. The broader market conditions will play a significant role in determining whether Dogecoin can regain momentum and continue its upward trajectory.
