Dog Teddy Seems to Spend Half His Life Looking for His Lost Ball

This is the third time this week that Abby Treece’s dog, Teddy, has lost his ball. Well, technically, Teddy hid his ball in the safest place he could find. Unluckily for him, it was also the worst place to hide it.

Earlier this week, Abby shared a short clip of Teddy searching in vain for his lost tennis ball. The video quickly went viral, garnering over 10.7 million views and 900,000 likes.

Viewers were amused by Teddy’s expression as he looked up at his human with an expression of tired disbelief.

One commenter noted that it’s amazing that Teddy’s super-duper dog olfactory senses cannot overcome the gritty, overwhelming persistence of the sand to locate the lost ball.

Abby replied that it’s a daily occurrence. Perhaps the joke about them sharing one brain cell is true. Sometimes, Teddy has trouble finding his ball when he hides it in plain sight.

Another commenter remarked that Teddy’s expression is the most human-like response ever recorded on a dog’s face.

Abby answered a commenter and added a soundtrack to this scene. It’s hilarious, but some colorful words are unsuitable for work or small children.
