Customers use services and pay fees in fiat or native ecosystem tokens. This approach boosts the projects' revenue and enhances token value through increased usage.

Several decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePin) projects are notably profiting from their innovations in decentralizing services like telecommunications, graphic processing units (GPUs), and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
As these projects expand, their financial metrics, particularly fees, are closely monitored by investors and analysts.
3 DePin Projects With Highest Fees
Customers utilizing these services incur fees, which are typically paid in fiat or native ecosystem tokens. This approach contributes to the projects’ revenue and aims to boost token value with increased usage.
According to recent data from House of Chimera, io.net (IO), Helium (HNT), and Akash Network led in fee generation for the past three months. Io.net and Helium each amassed over $500,000 in fees, while Akash Network followed with over $200,000.
It’s worth noting that the House of Chimera has data on a limited number of projects. When the community inquired about the fees of other projects, the House of Chimera analysts mentioned that this data was not accessible to them.
Despite high fee generation, some tokens faced challenges. For instance, Render Network (RNDR) amassed over 53,582 RNDR in fees, whichは約に換算すると342,389ドルになります。However, the token is down by 94% from its peak.
Similarly, Helium’s HNT token and Akash Network’s AKT token are down by 50% and 62%, respectively, from their all-time highs. The newly listed IO token from io.net has also decreased by over 94% since its market debut last month.
The DePin ecosystem benefits from a dynamic interaction between token rewards and network growth. This growth attracts developers, product builders, and users, bringing more service providers to the network and enhancing the platform’s robustness and utility.
In addition to fees, crypto analyst Hitesh Malviya highlighted other key metrics. According to Malviya, the Nodle Network is the largest DePin project by device count, with about 780,000 devices. Furthermore, Grass has emerged as the most viral DePin project, with approximately 2 million users.
“Grass is also one of the most diluted airdrop events currently,” Malviya said.
Despite downturns in token prices, the substantial fees generated by these DePin projects indicate strong demand and a promising future for the sector.
