CryptoPunks Dominates the NFT Market in Sales

The NFT market has seen a roller coaster ride in the past seven days, with some collections experiencing astronomical gains while others faced a downturn. Here's a closer look at the top NFT sales performers, according to DMarket.

CryptoPunks, the OG NFT collection, unsurprisingly led the pack with a massive $5,365,824 in sales. This marks a staggering 160.23% increase in sales compared to the previous week. With an average price of $99,363 and only 54 transactions, CryptoPunks maintained its exclusivity and high demand.

Following closely behind is DMarket, another NFT platform, which saw $4,253,046 in sales during the past seven days. However, DMarket's sales experienced a slight dip of 8.32%, despite a marginal increase of 0.96% in transactions.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) also performed exceptionally well, securing the third spot with transactions surging by an impressive 70.90% this week. The collection saw sales of almost $3,945,966, continuing its strong presence in the NFT market.

Another NFT project that saw a significant upsurge in sales is Pudgy Penguins, which soared by 217.14% this week. The collection recorded sales of approximately $3,691,932, showcasing its enduring popularity among NFT enthusiasts.

The DogeZuki Collection also made it to the top NFT sales performers list, with sales of up to $2,431,492, indicating an elevation of 12.34% over the past seven days, ultimately placing 5th among the prominent NFT projects.

Coming in at the sixth position is Bitcoin Puppets, which recorded sales of $2,033,664; however, this marks a slump of 28.45%. And following that, NodeMonkes NFT stood at the seventh rank with sales of $1,976,820, also experiencing a plunge of 28.45% with transactions declining to 280 (showing a 12.50% slump).

Despite the sales dips, both Bitcoin Puppets and NodeMonkes managed to secure positions in the top ten NFT sales performers on DMarket.

Other notable performers in the top ten include Gods Unchained NFT, which remained effective in making a place among the top-performing projects with a 7.47% rise in sales, ultimately leading to $1,901,505 in sales.

Milady Maker also saw a slight increase in the case of sales, touching $1,880,358. However, the number of transfers involving the NFT dipped by 3.00%. And finally, DraftKings efficiently attained the tenth spot with a 213.51% increase in sales, securing $1,867,085 worth of transfers.
