A cryptocurrency trader has achieved an extraordinary feat, transforming a $13,000 investment into over $2 million within a single day through the strategic trading of a newly released memecoin named Donotfomoew (MOEW/USD). This token debuted on the Base blockchain platform to much fanfare.

Investment Strategy

According to blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain, the trader acquired approximately 499.9 million MOEW tokens for 4 Ethereum (ETH/USD) just ten minutes after MOEW became available on decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Capitalizing on the token's rapidly rising value, the trader astutely sold 111.65 million MOEW for 99 ETH, netting $328,000, while retaining 388.24 million MOEW, valued at $1.76 million at the time of reporting.

Token Launch and Market Momentum

Earlier on the same day, MOEW was launched by Bitget Wallet as a playful experiment to gauge the transformative power of internet memes. The token quickly gained traction after hitting DEXs, propelling its market capitalization to an impressive $31 million.

Cautionary Measures

Despite the initial excitement surrounding MOEW's launch, Bitget Wallet cautioned potential buyers against impulsive purchases, emphasizing the limited token allocation: "Do not buy, do not fomo." The wallet clarified that 50% of MOEW tokens were allocated for liquidity pool addition and permanent lock, while the remaining 50% were earmarked for airdrop distribution. Bitget Wallet confirmed that it did not retain any tokens.

Ongoing Airdrop

The ongoing airdrop has already rewarded over 8,000 addresses with MOEW tokens. Recipients had previously accumulated BWB points through the Bitget Wallet.
