Both Bitcoin and Ethereum prices rose on Wednesday morning as cryptocurrency markets showed signs of recovery from recent lows.
Bitcoin was trading around $97,400, not far from recent lows of $89,256. However, the world’s largest cryptocurrency recovered quickly from the lows and rose past the $94,500 mark before continuing to climb to over $96,500.
If the momentum continues and Bitcoin breaches the $100,000 level, it could be set for a retest of previous peaks, including a high of $108,353 recorded in December 2024.
Technical indicators were largely positive, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) standing at 53 to indicate bullish momentum as it remained above the neutral zone.
The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) also showed strong signal crossovers, hinting at continued price appreciation.
Meanwhile, Ripple surged by 5.17% after testing the upper boundary of a symmetrical triangle pattern on the price chart. XRP was trading around $2.80 at the time of writing.
If it maintains current momentum, projections suggest it could climb towards $3.63. However, traders should exercise caution as profit-taking could occur near the psychological support level of $3.00.
The RSI for XRP reflecting 67 also signifies bullish conditions, supported by MACD indicating sustained upward movement.
In summary, both Bitcoin and Ethereum prices exhibited promising recovery signals, while Ripple’s potential rally may offer exciting opportunities for traders.
