The crypto market is starting the weekend with positive momentum, with most coins showing gains. Bitcoin (BTC) has increased by 3.29% in the past 24 hours, reaching a current value of $63,728. The price of BTC has formed a local resistance level at $64,522, and experts predict continued sideways trading in the $62,000-$66,000 range.

Positive Start to Weekend for Cryptocurrency Market
The cryptocurrency market has commenced the weekend with a positive outlook, as observed by data from CoinMarketCap.
Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin (BTC), the leading cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has experienced a remarkable 3.29% surge in value over the past 24 hours.
Technical analysis on the hourly chart suggests a possible local resistance level for BTC at $64,522. Given that a significant portion of the daily Average True Range (ATR) has been traversed, substantial price fluctuations are unlikely to occur before the day's end.
On a broader time frame, BTC's price has once again found support at the $64,310 level. Should the current candle close significantly below this level, bears may regain control, potentially leading to a correction towards the $62,000-$63,000 zone.
From a mid-term perspective, BTC has recently experienced a false breakout of its support level at $59,440. However, it is premature to anticipate a swift reversal, as the cryptocurrency has yet to accumulate sufficient momentum for such a move.
In the near term, sideways trading within the $62,000-$66,000 range remains the most probable scenario for BTC.
At the time of publication, BTC is valued at $63,728.
Mid-Cap Cryptocurrencies
Several mid-cap cryptocurrencies have also recorded notable gains in recent hours. Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has increased by 2.5%. Cardano (ADA), the sixth-largest cryptocurrency, has seen a 3% rise in its value.
Market Outlook
The positive sentiment prevailing in the cryptocurrency market this weekend suggests that the recent turbulence experienced by the sector may be subsiding. However, it is essential to note that market conditions remain volatile, and investors should exercise caution and conduct thorough research before making investment decisions.
It is advisable to monitor the cryptocurrency market closely in the coming days to assess whether the positive momentum can sustain or if profit-taking or bearish pressure emerges.
