The summit revolved around the "Integration of AI and Cryptography" and invited nearly 30 experts from top institutions such as Coinbase, Citigroup, Cantor Fitzgerald, MSCI, Columbia, Solana Foundation, etc. to discuss cutting-edge topics such as digital assets, artificial intelligence, regulatory trends, Web3 infrastructure, investment and financing ecology, etc.
The CryptoAI Summit 2025, hosted by Bitpush and co-organized by TCFA, came to a successful conclusion in New York on May 10, 2025. The summit, which focused on the "Integration of AI and Cryptography," invited nearly 30 experts from top institutions such as Coinbase, Citigroup, Cantor Fitzgerald, MSCI, Columbia, Solana Foundation, etc. to discuss cutting-edge topics such as digital assets, artificial intelligence, regulatory trends, Web3 infrastructure, investment and financing ecology, etc. It was a high-density collision of ideas connecting tradition and the future, capital and technology. The whole day was filled with practical information and the atmosphere was full.
The summit was opened with a joint speech by Bitpush Managing Editor May Liu and TCFA Chair Joy Zhang, who stressed the necessity and urgency of "cross-border dialogue" and urged the financial and innovation circles to "break boundaries and move towards integration."
The keynote speech was delivered by John D'Agostino, head of strategy at Coinbase Institutional, and the event was hosted by Joy Zhang. John discussed in depth how institutional funds are adapting to the structural changes in the crypto era. Starting from multiple dimensions such as macro policies, institutional capital flows, and market structure evolution, he deeply interpreted the entry logic and risk preferences of traditional institutions under the trend of AI and crypto integration, shared the strategic shift from Wall Street to crypto institutions, and pointed out that the gradual clarification of supervision is a prerequisite for large-scale entry of institutions.
John pointed out that in the next few years, stablecoins, on-chain settlements, and AI-driven trading systems will become the major areas of focus for the capital market.
The first panel discussion, "Regulation and Deregulation: Crypto Challenges in the Trump Era," was hosted by Sylvanus CEO Wilfred Daye and guests included PennyWorks co-founder Ivan Zhang, BitMart Legal Director Jue Wang, Clouder Power CEO Hao Wu and Dragon AI co-founder Winston Ma. The discussion involved stablecoin legislation, US state-level Bitcoin reserve policies, sovereign fund investment trends, and the legalization prospects of DeFi. The guest pointed out that "the United States is an onion structure of crypto regulation - multiple layers intertwined, but with a clear direction: institutionalization."
The second panel discussion, "Crossing the Boundary of AI - Innovation Trends and Real Challenges," was hosted by Citigroup Managing Director and TCFAPresident-Elect Maggie Wang, and guests included Columbia Professor Zhou (Jo) Yu, Dr. Tao Cheng, former Director of Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at Ally, DistributedApps.ai CEO Ken Huang and NBW CTODr. Jay Zou. The guests looked forward to the future democratization path of AI from the perspectives of "big model construction", "decentralized computing power network", "privacy data training mechanism", etc. Jo Yu emphasized that "the next generation of AI tools should be jointly shaped by developers and the community, rather than dominated by monopolies."
The third panel discussion, "Ethereum VS Solana - Web3 Performance Battle," was hosted by Lincoln Murr, head of Coinbase AI products, and guests included BitFi founder Han Liu, Solayer Founding Engineer Chaz and Solana Foundation Growth Director Jiani Chen. From TPS to developer ecology, Solana focuses on "performance and cost", while Ethereum emphasizes "stability and durability". The guests believe that whoever can integrate the strongest liquidity will win the long-term favor of developers. The sharp opinions on the scene became the most technically tense dialogue of the whole event.
The fourth panel discussion, "Searching for the next 100x coin - the art of speculation," was hosted by MetaEra CEO Jessica Y, and guests included Third Eye Co-CIOTian Zeng, AscendEX Chairman George Cao, and OORT CTO Sichao Yang. Everyone admits that "speculation is not the original sin, and cognition and information gap are the core alpha." In the era of narrative-driven markets, institutions prefer to deploy high-volatility assets through structured products, and retail investors need to pay attention to position management; how to "invest early", "invest correctly" and "hold on" has become a common proposition for retail investors and institutions.
The fifth panel discussion, "Venture Capital in the Era of AI and Crypto," was hosted by well-known entrepreneur and investor Bianca Chen, and guests included SNZ Capital partner Keith Chen, Palm Drive Capital founding partner Seamon Chan, and Satoshi Lab founder Elaine Yang. The guests unanimously pointed out that today's VCs need to understand AI model structure, on-chain incentive mechanisms and human nature at the same time. The integration of AI and Crypto is reshaping the investment and financing rhythm and project evaluation logic. In addition, sovereign funds in the Middle East and Asia are returning to the Web3 investment chain, paying particular attention to AI Infra and Layer1 protocols.
The sixth panel discussion, "AI Agents + Meme Coins — A new generation of
