This collaboration enables U.S. users to fund their crypto purchases using PayPal. By linking their PayPal and Crypto.com wallets, users can easily transfer digital assets.

Cryptocurrency exchange platform Crypto.com has announced a new collaboration with PayPal, which will see PayPal integrated as a funding method for Crypto.com users in the United States.
This integration will allow U.S. users to seamlessly fund their crypto purchases and top-ups using their PayPal balances. By linking their PayPal and Crypto.com wallets, users can effortlessly transfer digital assets between the two platforms.
Currently, this service is only available to users in the U.S., but the company has plans to expand this feature to other markets in the future.
The addition of PayPal as a payment method further enhances Crypto.com’s offerings, enabling users to conveniently top up their Crypto.com Visa Cards using PayPal. This integration streamlines the user experience and provides greater flexibility in managing crypto finances.
This news follows a strong performance by PayPal this month, with its stock surging over 26%. Additionally, the market capitalization of its stablecoin, PayPal USD (PYUSD), has surpassed $1 billion, reflecting a significant increase from its starting point of $264 million earlier this year. This growth bodes well for PayPal, as it stands to earn substantial interest income from PYUSD.
Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, highlighted the importance of integrating traditional and digital payment systems for mainstream crypto adoption, and PayPal embodies this vision.
“PayPal is the digital commerce leader and shares our vision of consumers being able to safely and efficiently engage with digital currencies. We are tremendously proud to further our efforts with PayPal to continue to provide consumers around the world the most comprehensive and convenient crypto experience,” said Eric Anziani.
This partnership builds on previous collaborations between the two companies, such as enabling PayPal to top up the Crypto.com Visa Card and establishing Crypto.com as a preferred exchange for PYUSD.
