According to data from IntoTheBlock, TRON (TRX) and Dogecoin (DOGE) have the most profitable holders, with 85% and 83% in profit respectively. Ethereum (ETH) follows closely with 81%, surpassing Avalanche (AVAX) which has 60% of holders in profit despite recent market downturns. In contrast, Cardano (ADA) has only 35% of holders in profit, reflecting the currency's recent struggles and its fall from the top ten by market capitalization.

Crypto Analytics: Top Cryptocurrencies Yielding Highest Returns for Holders
A comprehensive analysis conducted by the analytics platform IntoTheBlock has identified the cryptocurrencies with the highest profitability for their holders. Among the prominent digital assets surveyed, TRON (TRX) emerged as the second-strongest performer, with an impressive 85% of its holders realizing profits. This places TRX second only to Bitcoin (BTC), which boasts a formidable 86% of its holders profiting from their investments.
While Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, boasts a significant presence in the market, it surprisingly ranks fourth in this profitability index, with 81% of its holders enjoying returns. ETH is surpassed by Dogecoin (DOGE), the pioneering meme cryptocurrency, which boasts an impressive 83% profitability rate among its holders.
However, the profitability landscape shifts significantly for other cryptocurrencies that once commanded prominent positions within the top ten by market capitalization. Avalanche (AVAX), for instance, has experienced sustained downward pressure, with data from CoinMarketCap revealing a substantial monthly decrease of over 30%. Despite this decline, approximately 60% of AVAX holders remain profitable.
An accompanying chart visually depicts the percentage of holders in profit across several leading layer 1 networks. Bitcoin maintains its dominance, followed closely by TRX. DOGE and ETH also register a significant proportion of profitable holders. Notably, Cardano (ADA) stands out with just 35% of its holders realizing profits.
This underperformance by ADA coincides with its recent dethronement as the ninth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization by Toncoin (TON). TON, the Telegram-related token, has witnessed tremendous growth in the first quarter of 2024.
As previously reported by CryptoMode, over half of Cardano addresses, approximately 2.5 million, have incurred substantial losses. This development underscores the broader challenges faced by ADA in the current market environment.
The findings of the IntoTheBlock analysis provide valuable insights into the profitability dynamics within the cryptocurrency market. While some assets continue to generate substantial returns for their holders, others have struggled to maintain a positive profitability margin. Investors are advised to exercise caution and conduct thorough research before making any investment decisions.
