Cronos Labs, an accelerator dedicated to fostering the Cronos ecosystem, has announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Google Cloud. This collaboration aims to enhance the Cronos network’s security, promote technical innovation, and increase developer adoption.
Here are the key highlights of this partnership:
* Google Cloud will join the Cronos validator network, becoming one of the 32 nodes responsible for validating transactions and producing new blocks on the Cronos chain.
* Cronos Labs will leverage Google Cloud’s infrastructure to support Cronos zkEVM, a Layer-2 network built on ZK Chain technology. This network expands the Cronos ecosystem into the Ethereum Layer-2 environment.
* The partnership will focus on boosting developer adoption by exploring opportunities at the intersection of AI and blockchain. Notably, the complete Cronos blockchain datasets will be made available on the Google Cloud platform.
* Cronos Labs will collaborate with the Google for Startups Cloud Program to support startups in the Cronos Accelerator program. Startups will receive a tailored package of Google Cloud services.
* Google Cloud will join the Cronos validator network, operating a validator node to support the network’s security and performance. This collaboration will strengthen Cronos’s decentralized architecture by involving a renowned cloud provider in the validation process.
* Together, Cronos and Google Cloud will enhance the network’s stability and resilience, ensuring efficient and reliable transaction processing for Cronos users.
