COZ introduces a proposal to decouple GAS distribution from Council Rank

General Updates:

* COZ has introduced a proposal titled "Decoupling Council Rank From GAS Distribution," aiming to modify the current GAS allocation system for NEO holders participating in Neo Council elections. The proposal, submitted by COZ CEO Tyler Adams, responds to concerns about voter turnout and council member engagement raised during the recent Centre Point community meeting. The proposal aims to decouple the ranking of candidates in the election results from the GAS distribution to candidates, aiming to promote voter turnout and engagement while maintaining fairness in the allocation of GAS.

* Flamingo Finance has announced the latest changes to its platform, including a new method for minting its over-collaterialized stablecoin, FUSD, as well as FLM minting changes. Users can now directly mint FUSD with USDT on Neo N3, providing an alternative to minting by taking a loan with Flamingo Lend or exchanging for FUSD with Orderbook+ or Convert. The platform is also significantly reducing the daily FLM minting rate, from 146,880 to 86,400 FLM per day. This reduction aligns with the platform's commitment to a sustainable and balanced ecosystem.

* SpoonOS has announced a partnership with Centic, a Web3 intelligence availability layer that aims to empower builders and users to unlock personalized experiences, growth, and interest based on real-time data.
