Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, announced on Feb. 17, the introduction of a disclosure framework for listed tokens.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, which ranks No. 2 globally in terms of trading volume, announced on Friday the introduction of a disclosure framework for tokens listed on its platform. This initiative, which is said to be the first of its kind among centralized exchanges, will see projects share detailed financial and operational data to provide users with deeper insights and support more informed decision-making.
As part of this initiative, Bybit will feature a dedicated section called the Listing Billboard, where listed projects will be required to regularly publish key metrics, performance data and financial reports. This framework aims to provide investors with transparency beyond initial tokenomics, giving a clearer picture of a project’s growth and financial health.
The first project to adopt this new disclosure model is SoSoValue, which has shared its key performance indicators (KPIs) on Bybit, a month after its listing. Notably, the project has also completed a successful $15 million Series A funding round, as reported by crypto.news.
The disclosure framework covers five key areas: core financials, token metrics, on-chain activity, governance and community, and risk disclosures. This comprehensive approach will allow traders to monitor project performance over time, assess network health and understand how projects evolve.
Commenting on this initiative, Emily Bao, head of Spot and Web3 at Bybit, said: “Bybit is committed to delivering the level of transparency our users expect. This initiative will benefit traders in their research stage and allow them to follow project performance over time, and we are excited to have SoSoValue as the first partner on board.”
Jivvva Kwan, co-founder of SoSoValue, also shared her thoughts on this collaboration, saying: “We are thrilled to be setting a new standard for transparency in the crypto industry together with Bybit. This initiative aligns perfectly with SoSoValue's 100% transparent ethos, and we believe it will pave the way for a more informed and engaged community.”
