Bukedea Comprehensive School is making waves in East African sports. With focused investment and sheer determination, their football and beach volleyball teams have surged to the top, claiming gold at the 2025 FEASSA Games.

A Meteoric Rise

Just three years ago, Bukedea Comprehensive School ranked 48th in Uganda. Now, they stand tall as number one in East Africa, number three in the world. This transformation is nothing short of remarkable.

Fred Katende Malibu, the school's sports project manager, credits this rapid growth to a strategic vision initiated by Speaker Anita Among. The focus on sports scholarships and infrastructure development has created a winning formula.

Fuelled by Generosity and Hard Work

The victorious teams were celebrated at a luncheon where Speaker Anita Among and FUFA President Moses Magogo presented a generous cash reward of $20,000. This gesture acknowledges their outstanding performance and underscores the commitment to supporting the school's sports program.
