Singapore, Singapore, May 12, 2025 – Brevis and PancakeSwap announced the launch of Intelligent UX on PancakeSwap Infinity (formerly PancakeSwap v4), bringing programmable, user-aware, and trustless DeFi experiences. This integration, powered by Brevis’ advanced zero-knowledge proof (ZK) technology, introduces Brevis-supported hooks to PancakeSwap Infinity, changing how decentralized exchanges (DEXs) interact with users.
Announcing the Integration of Intelligent UX on PancakeSwap Infinity with Brevis Hooks for User-Aware DeFi Experiences
Singapore, Singapore, May 12, 2025 – Brevis, the company revolutionizing DeFi with its efficient and verifiable off-chain computation engine powered by zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), today announced that its technology is now integrating with PancakeSwap Infinity (formerly v4) to introduce Intelligent UX. This collaboration marks a significant step toward more dynamic and user-aware DeFi experiences.
Brevis’ integration with PancakeSwap Infinity brings programmability and trustless customizability to core DEX actions such as swapping and liquidity management, expanding the possibilities of decentralized exchanges.
Unchanged Experiences in DeFi: A Uniformity Issue
In the current DeFi landscape, all users, despite their loyalty, trading volume, or liquidity contributions, typically experience identical trading processes. This model, while efficient in achieving minimal code complexity, fails to recognize diverse user behaviors or incentivize specific actions.
As a result, DeFi applications struggle to:
Personally engage users with targeted incentives or rewards.
Favorably adjust fees based on user behavior, such as trading frequency or liquidity provision time.
Trustlessly deploy advanced incentive structures without introducing custodial risk.
Modularly compose DeFi infrastructure with components that can be easily mixed and matched.
Ideally, we want to align incentives in a decentralized manner—directly with verifiable on-chain behaviors.
Brevis and PancakeSwap Infinity: A New Kind of User Journey
To address this, Brevis and PancakeSwap are launching two types of data-driven BeforeSwap hooks:
Token Holder Discount Hook: Enables users to automatically receive fee discounts based on their time-averaged holdings of designated ERC-20 tokens. Discount tiers are configurable within the Brevis Portal, with eligibility proven trustlessly via Brevis attestation.
Trading Volume Discount Hook: Rewards traders with swap fee reductions based on their accumulated trading volume within specific pools over defined time windows, with no staking or manual verification required. Brevis also periodically attests VIP statuses across pools. PancakeSwap’s router intelligently fetches the attested data, calculates optimal swap paths, and applies applicable discounts in real-time, delivering a seamless, user-centric DeFi experience.
This initiative marks a significant step toward more dynamic and user-aware DeFi experiences.
“We are excited to partner with Brevis to launch Intelligent UX on PancakeSwap Infinity,” said the PancakeSwap Team. “This integration brings programmability and trustless customizability to core DEX actions, expanding the possibilities of decentralized exchanges.”
“We are thrilled to see Brevis-supported hooks being introduced to PancakeSwap Infinity, changing how DEXs interact with users,” said Michael Dong, Co-founder and CEO of Brevis. “Bringing trustless, intelligent user experiences, we’re moving beyond static trading environments to dynamic, adaptive systems that can personalize incentives, fees, and rewards based on real behavior. It’s a step toward a smarter, more expressive DeFi ecosystem that remains fully decentralized and secure.”
About Brevis
Brevis is an efficient, verifiable off-chain computation engine powered by zero-knowledge proofs. It enables Web3 applications to offload data-intensive and costly computations from on-chain environments to a significantly lower-cost off-chain engine. With Brevis, applications can scale seamlessly while maintaining the security of L1 trust assumptions.
By leveraging cutting-edge ZK technology, Brevis empowers developers to build scalable, cost-effective, and trustless solutions for complex computations, unlocking new possibilities for decentralized applications.
About PancakeSwap
PancakeSwap is a leading multichain decentralized exchange that operates on an automated market maker (AMM) model and is available across nine chains: BNB Chain, Ethereum, Aptos, Polygon zkEVM, zkSync Era, Arbitrum One, Linea, Base, and opBNB. Launched in 2020, PancakeSwap is one of the most popular DEXs in the cryptocurrency industry due to its low transaction fees, high-speed trading, and user-friendly platform. PancakeSwap has over $1.7 billion in total value locked and $1.2 trillion in trading volume, making it a leading multichain DEX in the industry.
