BlockDAG Prepares to Inject Optimism into the Crypto Market with its September 20 Testnet Launch
Sep 17, 2024 at 11:30 pm
As Toncoin struggles to rebound from a notable dip, with its value locked showing a significant decrease, questions about its recovery linger.

Cryptocurrency markets are renowned for their volatility, and recent events have brought to light the varying fortunes of three distinct coins: Toncoin, Monero, and BlockDAG.
Toncoin, a cryptocurrency known for its ambitious decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, is currently encountering significant market challenges. On August 26, data showed a notable $3.13 million outflow from decentralized trading pools, marking a downturn in liquidity that has impacted its overall market position.
The total value locked in Toncoin’s DeFi protocols has plummeted from a high of $900 million to just $340.7 million. Despite its broad circulating supply of 2.53 billion coins, Toncoin’s recovery path remains uncertain, especially with its lack of integration with popular DeFi platforms such as Uniswap and Aave. Questions linger about whether Toncoin can rebound to its previous peak of $8.24.
In a contrasting turn of events, Monero, a cryptocurrency renowned for its privacy, has come under scrutiny after a leaked video purportedly from Chainalysis, a blockchain analysis firm, suggested that Monero transactions might be more traceable than previously thought.
According to discussions on Reddit, Chainalysis might have tracked Monero transactions by deploying its own network nodes, gathering data including IP addresses and timestamps from as far back as 2021. This revelation has sparked intense debate about the methods used by analytical firms like Chainalysis and the potential implications for Monero’s promise of privacy.
Meanwhile, BlockDAG is on the brink of a significant milestone with its Testnet launch scheduled for September 20, having already achieved a presale milestone of $72.5 million and a remarkable 1,680% return for its early backers.
The global developer community and users are keenly awaiting to test the network’s features, including MetaMask integration, minting BDAG coins, and experimenting with smart contracts and NFTs.
This upcoming Testnet phase marks more than just a technical evolution; it’s a step closer to the Mainnet launch, anticipating a rise in coin value to $1 by 2025. From the current presale price of $0.0178, this growth would translate into a phenomenal 5,500% return for today’s buyers.
The buzz around the BDAG coin is palpable, with intense demand making the latest batch nearly sell out as enthusiasts rush to secure their share before potential price hikes post-launch.
