BlockDAG has made a huge splash, gathering $101.3 million from 24 rounds of a very popular presale. This big win has put BlockDAG (BDAG) in the spotlight

Cryptocurrency had a mixed week with some assets seeing gains while others faced challenges. BlockDAG (BDAG) stole the show, gathering $101.3 million from 24 rounds of a very popular presale. This big win put BDAG in the spotlight, shining brighter than recent news about Ethereum and Binance Coin, marking it as this week's leading crypto contender. Its recent test network launch won applause for being fast and safe, even being seen as a challenger to networks like Kaspa or Solana. Early supporters have already reaped a whopping 1960% gain. With Ethereum growing steadily and Binance Coin's price climbing, BlockDAG's presale triumph marks it as a rising star in the crypto universe.
Ethereum’s Validators Thrive
Over the past year, Ethereum's validators have seen a 30% rise in numbers, topping one million for the first time in June 2024. This increase, up from 824,300 in September 2023, points to more and more big players picking Ethereum. This growth is driven by new ways to stake and restake which let validators make the most of their money and earn more on DeFi platforms.
The total amount of Ethereum staked has also jumped by 27% in the last year. With over 34.7 million ETH now staked, this boost mainly comes from the Shanghai upgrade in April 2023, which for the first time allowed ETH holders to take back their staked coins since moving to Proof-of-Stake.
Binance Coin’s Price on the Rise
The price of Binance Coin has been climbing, recently hitting over $600 for the first time since late September 2024. It's now at $601 and shows signs of going even higher, possibly reaching $800—a 35% increase. Analysts are keen as BNB’s price makes an ascending triangle pattern, suggesting the bullish trend might continue.
The market feels positive about BNB, with $64.98 million in long positions outweighing $34.04 million in short bets, showing traders expect more price increases. The relative strength index (RSI) is at 66.72, just under the point where it's considered too high, meaning there's still room for the price to go up. If it breaks through the $605-$620 resistance area, $800 is the next big target. However, if it can't stay above $580, this positive view could fall apart.
