BlackRock, ETH ETF, and the Ethereum Comeback: Is the Tide Turning?

Sep 16, 2025 at 05:10 pm

BlackRock's ETH ETF sees biggest inflows in a month, signaling renewed confidence in Ethereum. Is this the start of the ETH comeback?

BlackRock, ETH ETF, and the Ethereum Comeback: Is the Tide Turning?

Hold onto your hats, crypto enthusiasts! It looks like Ethereum might just be staging a comeback, and BlackRock's ETH ETF is playing a starring role. After a rocky start to the month, things are looking up for ETH, with significant inflows suggesting renewed institutional interest.

BlackRock's Big Bet on ETH

BlackRock's Ethereum ETF (ETHA) just recorded its biggest daily inflow in a month, raking in a cool $363 million on September 15th alone! This surge follows a period of outflows, indicating a potential shift in sentiment towards Ethereum. With BlackRock controlling a significant chunk of the Ethereum ETF market, their moves are definitely worth watching.

Ethereum ETFs: Turning the Tide

It wasn't all smooth sailing for Ethereum ETFs earlier in September. However, the tide seems to be turning. Ethereum spot funds recorded substantial net inflows, with Fidelity's FETH also making waves. This collective momentum suggests a broader recovery for Ethereum-based investment products.

ETH vs. BTC: Who Will Win the Digital Asset Treasury Race?

Standard Chartered's Geoffrey Kendrick believes Ethereum could outperform both Bitcoin and Solana in the long run. Ethereum's staking yield and established treasury ecosystem give it a unique advantage, especially with Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs) increasingly holding ETH. BitMine Immersion, for example, is aggressively accumulating ETH. While Bitcoin treasuries currently dominate in size, the staking yield and existing treasury ecosystem of Ethereum give it a competitive edge.

Volatility Ahead: Buckle Up!

Crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe predicts increased volatility for Ethereum. He points out potential corrective dips, with key accumulation zones below $4,100. On the flip side, a break above resistance zones around $4,400–$4,600 could signal renewed momentum. This sets the stage for potential price surges.

Final Thoughts: Is ETH About to Explode?

With institutional inflows picking up and treasury adoption on the rise, analysts see the potential for Ethereum to climb back toward the $5,000–$5,200 range. Whether ETH becomes "the next crypto to explode" remains to be seen, but the recent activity surrounding BlackRock's ETF and the overall market trends certainly suggest exciting times ahead.

So, is Ethereum making a comeback? The data seems to suggest so. Keep an eye on those inflows, folks! It might just be the beginning of something big.
