Bitget Analyst Predicts XRP to Hit $8, SOL to Reach $300 as Altcoin Season Looms
May 23, 2025 at 09:00 pm
Ryan Lee, Chief Analyst at Bitget Research, believes the crypto market could soon enter a full-blown altcoin season
Crypto analysts at leading derivatives exchange Bitget are predicting major gains for XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA) as altcoin season approaches.
According to Ryan Lee, Chief Analyst at Bitget Research, the crypto market could soon enter a full-blown altcoin season. This shift will be driven by a potential decline in Bitcoin dominance and increased investor interest in major altcoins.
Speaking to CoinDesk, Lee stated that regulatory clarity and technical indicators are aligning in favor of XRP, which he believes could reach $3 to $8 in the medium term.
“We are seeing XRP gain traction amid clearer regulations, and technical analysis points to a bullish trend, which could see XRP reach $3 to $8 in the medium term,” said Lee.
Investors are becoming increasingly bullish on XRP as the token has already recovered significantly from its March lows.
Lee added that investor sentiment is also shifting, with institutions showing stronger recognition of XRP in the market.
Turning to Solana, Lee highlighted growing ETF speculation as a major catalyst for price appreciation. He projected that SOL could surge to $220-$300, especially if institutional access through regulated products becomes a reality.
“We could see SOL benefit from broader market momentum and potential ETF announcements, paving the way for a continuation of the uptrend to reach $220-$300.”
As for Cardano (ADA), Lee sees the token trading between $1 and $3. He noted its recent on-chain developments and community engagement. While not as explosive as Solana or XRP, ADA’s upside remains intact in a broader altcoin rally scenario.
Lee’s predictions are based on the assumption that Bitcoin dominance will retreat as market confidence shifts toward higher-risk, high-upside assets—a typical pattern in late-stage bull markets.
“We could see Bitcoin dominance continue to decline as investors become more open to riskier assets, setting the stage for a broader altcoin season.”
With investor attention increasingly moving toward altcoins, Lee’s outlook suggests that XRP, SOL, and ADA could be key players in the next leg of crypto’s expansion.
