A new Bitcoin-themed meme coin called BTC Bull Token ($BTCBULL) has just surpassed the $5 million raised milestone.
It comes as echoes of institutional Bitcoin adoption send the altcoin market soaring.
But $BTCBULL isn’t an average meme coin; it’s the first cryptocurrency to pay its community real Bitcoin rewards.
Those who buy $BTCBULL will receive $BTC and $BTCBULL airdrops at key Bitcoin price milestones.
The presale allows investors to participate in this incentive-based economy from the ground floor, which could indicate major upside potential.
Currently, investors can buy $BTCBULL at a presale price of $0.00248, but this will incrementally increase throughout the ICO, with the next uptick in under two days.
BTC Bull Token: A meme coin that pays out in Bitcoin
Bitcoin is the best-performing asset of the last 15 years, providing an average annual return of 230%.
But while it’s capable of such sustainable gains, cryptocurrency creators have yet to figure out a way for investors to earn passive Bitcoin yield by simply holding an altcoin.
BTC Bull Token leverages the hype and virality of a meme coin and uses it to accumulate Bitcoin and then distribute it to its community.
The BTC Bull Token presale page says 15% of tokens will be allocated to the “BTC Fund” which will be used to build a Bitcoin stockpile that’s airdropped to community members.
But there’s a catch: only users who enter the presale will be eligible to receive these airdrops.
The limited nature of these Bitcoin rewards means that most presale investors are unlikely to sell their tokens on the aftermarket, instead holding on for the exclusive opportunity to generate passive Bitcoin yield. This will enable any new demand to significantly impact the price, resulting in much stronger growth potential.
The airdrops will take place at $100K, $150K, $200K, $250K, and so on until Bitcoin hits $1 million.
A burning mechanism will also periodically destroy a portion of the $BTCBULL supply at key Bitcoin price milestones, starting when it hits $125K. These token burns will continue with every $50K increase afterward.
While benefiting from passive Bitcoin yield, the deflationary nature of $BTCBULL – paired with its viral meme coin allure – could allow holders to experience long-term capital appreciation.
As to how far it could go, analyst Danjo Capital Master believes the project could give 50x gains, likely well outpacing Bitcoin and other major altcoins. Part of the reason that $BTCBULL may be able to perform so well is that its presale allows investors to buy in early, leaving plenty of untapped potential.
Bitcoin’s institutional adoption explodes – good news for $BTCBULL
An unprecedented wave of institutional interest is flooding into Bitcoin as a shifting regulatory environment makes it easier for financial firms to interact with digital assets.
The Fed rescinded its previous guidance on Thursday, which required banks to give notice of planned or ongoing activities with crypto assets. This opens the door to a new wave of TradFi liquidity.
Meanwhile, the SEC under Paul Atkins has dropped several cases against crypto firms that the previous chair, Gary Gensler, had filed.
This warmer regulatory environment is inviting institutional capital to the Bitcoin market. On Wednesday, BlackRock’s $IBIT ETF saw the biggest daily inflows of any ETF in the world, and several other companies are taking major steps to increase their Bitcoin ownership.
ETFs are on a bitcoin bender, have consumed nearly 25,000 btc in three days, $IBIT alone took in $643m yesterday, #1 among all ETFs. What's really notable here is just HOW FAST the flows can go from 1st gear to 5th gear. Prob some is basis trade back in effect, that's the fast… https://t.co/WwE50FWUq1
One example is Cantor Fitzgerald, who recently partnered with Japanese firm SoftBank and stablecoin issuer Tether in a $3 billion joint venture to form a Bitcoin acquisition company called Twenty One.
The new outfit aims to replicate Michael Saylor’s Strategy playbook by using convertible notes and equity financing to accumulate more Bitcoin.
Seasoned traders are well aware that institutional Bitcoin inflows will cause a wealth rotation into the altcoin market. Altcoins across the board will benefit substantially, but BTC Bull Token stands for disproportionate growth.
Not only is $BTCBULL a way to pay homage to the market-leading asset, but investors understand that it’s built on scarcity and community reward principles, fostering real long-term potential. Many investors who take profits on their Bitcoin positions will rotate to the project as a way to compound their gains.
However, with price increases occurring throughout the ICO, potential investors shouldn’t
