Bitcoin price predictions: BTC to $1 million by 2028 as multiple catalysts align
May 05, 2025 at 11:30 am
The Bitcoin market is showing powerful signs of an impending breakout as multiple catalysts align, with institutional adoption accelerating and technical indicators flashing buy signals.
Industry veterans and market analysts are now turning their attention to Bitcoin price predictions, with several names in the crypto sphere making some stunning calls.
As Bitcoin (BTC) prepares for another run at $100k in the near-term, smaller projects such as Bitcoin Pepe (BPEP), CartelFi (CARTFI), and PepeX (PEPX) make a strong case as the best cryptos to buy now, promising to deliver outsized returns after successful presale fundraising.
Like the Easter bunny, bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce! Seriously fam, this might be the last chance you have to buy $BTC < $100k 😉😉😉😉. New essay drops this week about The BBC Bazooka, treasury buy backs. Yaxhtzee pic.twitter.com/iYCXqGxsws
Bitcoin price predictions: BTC to $1 million by 2028
Bitcoin’s perfect storm of bullish indicators is brewing, with BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes making a stunning prediction: Bitcoin will reach $1 million by 2028.
Speaking at Token2049 in Dubai, Hayes advised investors this might be the “last chance” to buy Bitcoin below $100,000, highlighting upcoming US Treasury buybacks as a key factor for Bitcoin’s explosive growth.
His outlook aligns with ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood, who forecasts Bitcoin potentially hitting $1.5 million by 2030 due to accelerating institutional adoption.
On the technical front, Bitcoin appears to be setting up for another significant rally. According to analysis by Cointelegraph, Bitcoin has historically experienced at least 50% rallies when two specific patterns emerge: low market leverage coinciding with strong retail sales data, and hawkish Fed signals with decreasing exchange balances. Both conditions are now present.
Bitcoin’s volatility has also dropped to a 563-day low, signaling its maturation as the world’s seventh-largest asset by market cap. This stability comes as crypto markets eye a breakout from the $93,000-$95,000 consolidation President Trump reported progress on tariff negotiations, which could trigger the next leg up.
Bitcoin ETFs saw $127.53 million in net inflows on April 30 alone, according to data from Blockchain News. Among the institutions engaging heavily in the crypto market, BlackRock’s iShares ETF displayed the largest inflow with $212.11 million.
With iShares currently holding 601,209 BTC at an estimated value of $56.11 billion, the "smart money" appears to be making a significant move on Bitcoin.
In a recent development, Grayscale has announced the launch of a new fund that will invest in companies utilizing Bitcoin. This initiative expands the avenues for institutions to gain exposure to the crypto sector beyond traditional investment vehicles.
As these catalysts converge, Bitcoin’s path to $1 million appears to be becoming increasingly clear.
The best cryptos to buy now as Bitcoin marches to $1 million
As Bitcoin advances toward these eye-watering predictions, several projects are strategically positioned to capture tremendous value from this historic bull run:
1. Bitcoin Pepe (BPEP)
The $1 million Bitcoin price prediction creates a critical problem: Bitcoin’s network isn’t equipped to handle the massive transaction volume such valuation would bring.
Bitcoin Pepe offers the solution by bringing Solana-level functionality to Bitcoin through its groundbreaking Layer 2 architecture.
When Bitcoin reaches $500k, let alone $1 million, network congestion will make transactions nearly impossible. But Layer 2 solutions like BPEP will become essential infrastructure, not optional upgrades.
What separates BPEP from other scaling solutions is that it preserves Bitcoin’s core security model. While competitors attempt to create 'parallel chains' that lose Bitcoin’s strength, BPEP's transactions are settled on Bitcoin's mainnet.
This architecture renders BPEP capable of executing transactions orders of magnitude faster and cheaper than Layer 1 Bitcoin, yet all transactions are guaranteed by Bitcoin’s unmatched security.
The project’s PEP-20 token standard allows developers to create applications on Bitcoin for the first time—unlocking DeFi, NFTs, and smart contracts without sacrificing security.
As more of Bitcoin’s $1.9 trillion market cap flows into these applications, BPEP will be the primary beneficiary through specialized meme liquidity pools and token use cases.
At just $0.031 in its current presale phase with $7.5m already raised, BPEP presents a unique asymmetric bet on Bitcoin’s future. Rather than competing with Bitcoin, it enhances it—positioning early investors to reap the benefits as Bitcoin climbs.
2. CartelFi (CARTFI)
While Bitcoin’s rise dominates headlines, another trend is unfolding: the massive capital inefficiency of meme tokens, now boasting over $50 billion in collective value.

- Cardano (ADA) Price Returned to the Upside
- May 05, 2025 at 07:25 pm
- output:input: Cardano price returned to the upside on Monday, retesting the $0.680 support , but staying within a broader downtrend going back two weeks. The coin was at $0.686 at the time of writing, up by 1.4% on the daily chart, but down by 2.46% on the weekly time frame. The broader crypto market is generally on a low upward momentum after Bitcoin’s move towards the six-figure territory was halted near the $98k mark. The crypto market bellwether has since broken below the $95K support, raising the probability of an extended downtrend.
