Bitcoin Price Prediction From the Founder of Binance

In a candid interview during his recent visit to Pakistan, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao—widely known as CZ—shared his bold vision for Bitcoin’s long-term potential and how he believes governments will soon enter the crypto accumulation race.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, recently visited Pakistan where he discussed Bitcoin’s long-term price potential and his thoughts on governments entering the crypto accumulation race.
When asked if he realistically sees Bitcoin reaching the $1 million mark, CZ replied in the affirmative, adding that it will take some time for such a monumental price level to be achieved.
“We’re still in the early stages,” said the Binance CEO, highlighting that the crypto market, despite its rapid growth, is relatively young.
“Good things don’t happen overnight. It takes time. Most people underestimate what can happen in 5–10 years.”
His comments echo a sentiment increasingly shared among long-term Bitcoin holders who view BTC as more than just a speculative asset—but rather, a future global reserve.

Governments Could Compete for Bitcoin Reserves
Beyond price speculation, CZ also touched upon a future geopolitical trend: nation-states vying to buy Bitcoin in a race to secure the crypto.
“The U.S. has already made it clear that it treats Bitcoin as a reserve asset. Other countries won’t want to be left behind,” stated the Binance CEO.
According to CZ, wealthier and more financially stable nations will likely move first, acquiring large BTC holdings as part of their sovereign reserves. This, in turn, could send the price soaring even further, putting latercomers at a disadvantage.
As part of his new role as strategic advisor to the Pakistan Crypto Council, CZ’s insights may carry particular significance for countries seeking to modernize their financial systems through digital assets.
