Bitcoin Price Charts Target $110K by 2025

Sep 02, 2024 at 11:26 pm

Bitcoin’s price is on track to $110,000 by 2025 based on a key technical formation, according to popular crypto analyst Titan of Crypto.

Bitcoin Price Charts Target $110K by 2025

Bitcoin price is on track to $110,000 by 2025 based on a key technical formation, according to popular crypto analyst Titan of Crypto.

The analyst highlighted a cup-and-handle pattern on Bitcoin’s 1-week price chart on Sept. 1, indicating a potential breakout toward $110,000.

The cup-and-handle is a bullish chart pattern that signals the extension of an uptrend, commonly used by technical traders to identify opportunities to gain long exposure to an asset.

The formation begins with a large price decline, followed by a recovery that forms the left side of the cup. After a period of consolidation, prices continue to rise, forming the right side of the cup.

A final price surge forms the handle of the cup, which is typically a downtrend or sideways price movement. A breakout from the handle usually signals the start of an uptrend.

Another technical indicator also hints at a breakout toward $100,000 during the first quarter of 2025, according to popular analyst Elja Boom.

The analyst highlighted a head-and-shoulder pattern on Bitcoin’s 1-week price chart on Aug. 31, indicating a potential breakout toward $100,000.

A head-and-shoulders pattern is a bearish technical formation that signals a trend reversal, typically used to identify opportunities to gain short exposure to an asset.

The formation consists of three peaks, with the middle peak being the highest, forming the head, while the two lower peaks on either side form the shoulders.

Concerns over a potential BTC price drop to $40K

Despite the optimistic six-figure predictions, Bitcoin could still see a significant correction first.

Before the 2025 breakout, Bitcoin could risk a correction below $40,000, according to Bitcoin analyst Magoo PhD, who shared the below chart in a Sept. 1 post.

The chart shows a potential scenario where Bitcoin could correct to as low as $38,000 before bouncing back up.

However, other analysts have varying opinions on the severity of the potential correction.

For example, popular crypto analyst Moustace is eyeing a market bottom around $57,000, based on a fractal pattern on Bitcoin’s 1-day price chart on Sept. 2.

The analyst is anticipating a strong support level at $57,000, based on the fractal, before prices begin to recover.

Technical traders often use fractal patterns to identify key support and resistance levels and potential trend reversals.

Based on historical data, traders can identify similarities in price action at different timeframes to anticipate upcoming price movements.

Bitcoin currently has significant support at $57,000. A possible move below would liquidate over $860 million worth of cumulative leveraged short positions, according to Coinglass data.
