Bitcoin Final Dance: Analyst Eyes Final Peak Ahead Of Halving

Apr 02, 2024 at 10:00 pm

There is renewed optimism for Bitcoin (BTC) as crypto expert Michael Van De Poppe sees the potential for a new all-time high before the upcoming halving event. Despite current bearish activity, Van De Poppe believes BTC can reach a new peak before the halving later this month. He identifies key levels of $67,000 as support and $71,700 for a potential breakout. If either level holds, he suggests a final ATH test before the halving.

Bitcoin Final Dance: Analyst Eyes Final Peak Ahead Of Halving

Bitcoin's Path to Glory: Anticipating a New All-Time High Before the Halving Triumph

The cryptocurrency realm is abuzz with renewed optimism as renowned analyst Michael Van De Poppe has boldly predicted the potential for Bitcoin (BTC) to ascend to unprecedented heights, possibly reaching a new all-time high before the highly anticipated Halving event.

A Momentary Retreat: Bitcoin's Consolidation Phase

Bitcoin's value has recently experienced a dip, prompting concerns among market participants. However, Van De Poppe remains steadfast in his belief that the leading cryptocurrency will rise to greater heights before the Halving, expected to occur towards the end of this month.

Consolidation Zone: A Poised Preparation for Ascent

The analyst has identified Bitcoin's current position as a consolidation phase, a period of lateral price movement that often precedes significant market shifts. Van De Poppe has pinpointed two crucial levels within the lower timeframes: $67,000 acting as a support barrier and $71,700 representing a pivotal breakout towards the peak.

A Final Surge Before the Halving Horizon

Van De Poppe previously projected Tuesday as the probable commencement of decisive market movements as Bitcoin consolidates. He maintains that if the digital asset can maintain the $67,000 support level, it will embark on a final upward surge before the Halving milestone.

Crucial Levels: Shaping Bitcoin's Destiny

The analyst emphasizes the significance of these crucial levels, asserting that their development will determine Bitcoin's trajectory. Van De Poppe's conviction is unwavering, leading him to predict that BTC will achieve one final all-time high before the Halving event.

Market Navigation Amidst Price Volatility

Following the recent price decline, Van De Poppe has issued prudent advice to the crypto community, cautioning against impulsively pursuing large price increases. He recommends entering the market when BTC's price has depreciated by 15% to 40%. Moreover, he advises investors considering altcoins to acquire them when they have dropped by 25% to 60%.

Tracing the Root Causes: Factors Influencing Bitcoin's Correction

As of this writing, Bitcoin's price stands at $65,843, reflecting a more than 5% decline over the past 24 hours. Its trading volume has surged significantly by 66% during the same period, while its market capitalization has witnessed a 5% reduction.

Bitcoin's price has retreated by approximately 10% since its peak of $73,000 in early March. One contributing factor to this retracement is believed to be the influx of funds into US Spot Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), which has recently begun to subside.

Data compiled by Wu Blockchain reveals that these products experienced a net outflow of $85.84 million on Monday. BlackRock's ETF IBIT recorded a net inflow of $165 million, whereas Grayscale's ETF GBTC underwent a single-day net outflow of $302 million. Cumulatively, the historical net inflow for BTC spot ETFs currently stands at $12.04 billion.
