Reversing a 1.73% gain from Monday, Bitcoin ended the day at $46,849.0.

Bitcoin (BTC) to USD, slid by 11.06% on Tuesday

Bitcoin (BTC) price action slid on Tuesday and was last seen trading down by 0.46% to $46,633.0. A mixed start to the day saw Bitcoin rise to an early morning high $46,968.0 before falling to a low $46,402.0

A return to Monday’s highs saw Bitcoin begin the day in positive territory, with the BTC/USD pairing rising to an early morning high $46,968.0.

From the highs, Bitcoin fell sharply to hit an early morning low $46,402.0 before finding support.

The lows were short-lived, however, and Bitcoin quickly recovered some of the morning’s losses.

Last seen trading at $46,633.0, Bitcoin was down by 0.46% to leave Monday’s morning highs out of reach.

Bitcoin price action was last seen trading above the major support and resistance levels, with the pivot at $47,652.

Relative to Monday’s close, Bitcoin had fallen further away from the first major resistance level at $52,085.

In the other direction, the first major support level was last seen at $42,417.

Bitcoin’s morning pivot was seen at $46,849 with the 38.2% FIB at $45,883.

Total crypto market cap now stands at $2,087 billion, down from a Tuesday high of $2,437 billion.
